What Kit by Church Clap Co. is

Kit by Church Clap Co. is a subscription service for churches. A church (the “organization”) subscribes, and the people who use Kit by Church Clap Co. on that church’s behalf — staff and volunteers — join as members. The church, not any individual member, is the customer.

Accounts

You must be 16 or older to create an account. You’re responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your credentials secure.

Trial and subscription

New churches get a 14-day free trial with no card required. One trial is available per person, tied to the account that creates the church. During the trial, the church has full access to the shared library; subscribing at any point converts the trial to a paid plan. The church plan is $29 billed per month or $290 billed per year, with unlimited people included at either interval.

A church that never subscribes is notified before its trial-based access is removed, and its account is deleted after a notice period if it never converts to a paid plan. A church that has subscribed and later cancels is never automatically deleted.

Content

Kit by Church Clap Co. provides two kinds of content: a shared library written and published by us (“App Content”), and content your church writes and publishes for itself (“Your Content”). App Content is licensed for your church’s use while subscribed — it is not yours to copy, redistribute, or duplicate into your own published material, even though nothing technical prevents copying it. Your Content remains your church’s own; we host it and never share it outside your organization or use it to train any AI model.

Cancellation and access

You can cancel at any time from your church’s billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. When a subscription ends, access to the shared library ends with it. Your church’s own content and membership records are retained for a period afterward so that resubscribing restores full access, and admins can export their data before it is ultimately removed.

Account deletion

You may delete your account from within the app at any time, unless you are the only remaining admin of a church — in that case, promote another member first. Content you published to your church is kept and attributed to “Former member” rather than being removed; your personal drafts and saved items are deleted with your account.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Kit by Church Clap Co. to publish content that is unlawful, infringing, or that discloses others’ sensitive personal information without appropriate care. We may suspend access for accounts or churches that violate these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be communicated in advance.
